Weaver and the East Alabama Regional Planning Commission have reached an agreement that will allow bus and para- transit service to continue uninterrupted.
The Commission has revised Weaver's bill for service after realizing it had overcharged the town, in turn, the city council has decided not drop transit service on June 16th. The commission had miscalculated ridership and charged Weaver $13,000. The town had only budgeted $10,000 for transit.
