The Coosa County School Board is defending itself in a bullying lawsuit. Plaintiffs in that suit say that bullying led to physical and emotional damages for a former Central High School student The suit names the County Board of Education and more than a dozen other plaintiffs. It says there was a pattern of bullying at schools, and on school buses. The plaintiffs say they tried repeatedly to handle the situation through school administrators, but were not able to stop the bullying.
