Tuition at Jacksonville State University will cost $10 more per credit hour, increasing the cost from $255 to $265 per credit hour. The tuition increase is in response to JSU's budget being cut by 4 percent, according to Patty Hobbs, vice president of student affairs. The tuition hike will take effect in the fall 2012 semester.
