Jefferson County school officials state that a 6th grade female student at Clay-Chalkville Middle School brought bullets and a picture of a gun to school Friday. Nez Calhoun with Jefferson County Schools tells us the female was involved in an altercation with another student on Thursday. The student who brought the items to school was escorted off of campus and taken into custody by a Jefferson County School Resource Officer. The name of the students have not been released, and charges are not known at this time.
