CALERA - AL - A Shelby County woman will spend ten years in federal prison for her involvement in a murder-for-hire case.
Forty-four year-old Kimberly McGuffie of Calera was sentenced by Judge Abdul Kallon. McGuffie and her 64-year-old mother, Barbara Patterson, conspired to have someone kill McGuffie's ex-husband with a poison cocktail.
Patterson is to be sentenced May 31st.
