Today is a Day of Remembrance statewide. Governor Robert Bentley will hold a prayer service at the State Capitol to remember the 252 lives lost after dozens of long track tornadoes swept the state. An Alabama state flag representing each person killed in the tornadoes will be displayed on the Capitol grounds.
The Governor's proclamation calls for a statewide moment of silence at 4:27 p.m.
