At least a couple of cars driving around near Jacksonville State University were egged sometime after 8 p.m. Thursday.
Nika Berry, a 19-year-old JSU student, said she was in her sister’s car in the Grub Mart drive-thru carwash when an egg hit her windshield.
“I didn’t know what it was at first,” “It was like a big ‘wow!’”
Although JSU police said they hadn’t received any reports of egged cars, Berry said the person who threw the egg at her sister’s car was driving a small, four-door vehicle.
“This is weird,” Berry said. “It’s like what? Really? Throwing eggs at cars?”
An Anniston Star reporter’s car, which was on Mountain Avenue, was also egged.
JSU is in the midst of final exams, with the spring graduation ceremony set for May 4.
