Ceremonies commemorating the April 27th tornado will continue all week. Governor Bentley continues his statewide tour today.
Bentley started the tour at a service at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Pratt City on Monday. He presented a $125,000 check to the Central Alabama Longterm Recovery Committee. Governor Bentley also visited Pleasant Grove.
During his tours, he pointed out there are still a lot of storm survivors who have unmet needs, but he says it is good to see that people are rebuilding.
One thing Governor Bentley says he is doing during his tours is making sure money raised for storm recovery is being spent in the right places.
