The Talladega city council approved an incentive package for a Honda supplier that is expected to create 200 jobs within two years. M-Tek has agreed to set up shop in an industrial park in the city in exchange for a tax abatement. For 10 years, the supplier will not have to pay non-educational property taxes. The company will invest more than $6 million in its facility. The plant is expected to be up and running by December.
