A Boaz man has been indicted for sexual abuse of a six-year-old female victim. Aaron Wayne Pace, 32, of Boaz, was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center on Thusday, April 5 on an indictment of first degree sexual abuse, Investigator Carla Carroll said.
The victim was six years old when the abuse occurred in early 2011, according to the Etowah County Sheriff's Office. The victim was interviewed at the James M. Barrie Center for Children in Gadsden. U.S. Marshals apprehended Pace. He is being held in the detention center on a $100,000 bond for the sexual abuse charge.
