A status hearing in the re-trial of Timothy Tillman is set for Tuesday. The former pastor is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of his wife, Janet Lorita Tillman, in October 2005. The couple was in the Vincent Revival Center where they lived at the time of Janet's shooting death. Trial records show Timothy Tillman was carrying two firearms to put them into the trunk of the family car when a shot fired, hitting and killing Janet. Tillman currently faces an additional 10 years for depositing a loan check sent to his wife three months after her death.
