Alabama authorities have charged two people in the January robbery of a Lowe's home improvement store in Dothan.
As of today it has been reported that first-degree robbery charges have been filed against 44-year-old Richard Allan Brannon and 35-year-old Tasha Leigh Miller. Both were jailed with bail set at $60,000.
Police say security guards at the store on Jan. 16 saw a man and a woman take a drill out of its package and place it into a purse. Authorities say the man also slipped a knife into his pocket.
Police say the man punched a security guard when confronted and pulled out the knife as the couple fled the store.
