Three people have been arrested for allegedly stealing donations meant for the needy in Honduras. The items which included boxes of shoes, medical supplies and some toys were taken from two storage units on Highway 82 in Tuscaloosa last month. Valley View Baptist Church collects the items from members for an annual mission trip to Honduras. But, when they went to load the stuff for sorting -- they found locks broken off and a large majority gone. The church immediately started collecting more. Police received a tip leading them to arrest Danny Daniel, Paula Beams, Scott Sullivan and Amy Alexander. Some of the stolen items were recovered, but since the story aired -- church members say they collected even more than what was originally taken.
