Each year the City of Anniston's Park and Recreation Department (PARD) runs a Youth Empowerment Program that fosters a strong work ethic among area high school students and recent graduates. These young men and women develop stronger work ethics by being exposed to several local Anniston businesses.
This year's group is actively involved with the Downtown Market, which is the farmer's market that will continue into September. The participants are supervised by PARD employee Kia Graves.
