A recent graduate of Faulkner University in Montgomery is getting ready for his summer job as a lifeguard, because that’s what 15-year-olds typically do in the summer. The Associated Press reports 15-year-old Keith Harding walked the stage at Faulkner on Friday after earning a degree in music.
He first started attending at the age of 11 after he was home-schooled. According to the AP, the 15-year-old graduated with a 3.73 GPA and was president of the university’s choir club. He tells the AP “I think because I was interested in music, the studying wasn’t a burden.”
Keith is the eighth Harding child to graduate college. The oldest Harding child graduated from Auburn University at the age of 17, and the youngest two children, aged 5- and 3-years-old, are expected to follow in their older siblings’ footsteps.
