(WDNG) - An illegal moonshine still is destroyed as state officials continue to crack down on bootleg liquor. The Alabama Alcohol Beverage Control Board says agents late last week demolished an 8-barrel still and seized nearly 25 gallons of illegal moonshine.
According to a Monday release, the still was found in the woods near the Bullock County and Polk County line. Agents with the board’s Moonshine Task Force reportedly found the homemade still along with bags of sugar and grain.
No arrests have been made. Officials say the investigation continues.
