The following is an update from Mayor Vaughn Stewart:
City salt and sand crews continue operations but roads remain dangerous. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our men and women in uniform, all students were returned home safely last night and no stranded motorists remained on the roadways over night. I will continue to travel about the neighborhoods today and into the evening. If you have an emergency, please call 911.
WDNG has been informed that all roads are considered very hazardous so all citizens are encouraged to stay off all roads until further notice.
We will update you as more information becomes available.
