(WDNG) - Another round of arctic air will blast into the area and bring with it high winds across much of Alabama. Information from the National Weather Service on Tuesday morning indicates overnight lows for this week will drop into the teens across Calhoun County.
Highs aren’t expected to climb out of the 40s on Tuesday and will be slightly above freezing through Friday. The National Weather Service in Birmingham expects a brisk northwest wind of 15 to 25 miles per hour on Tuesday will make temperatures feel even colder.
A Wind Advisory has been issued for all of central Alabama until 6 p.m. Tuesday evening. According to the National Weather Service, a Hard Freeze Warning may be issued late this week.
