The Talladega County Jail confirms that a Sylacauga school employee has turned himself in to the jail.
Rodricus Thomas was arrested Dec. 29 for second degree rape and "school employee engaging in a sex act or deviant sexual intercourse with a student under the age of 19," according to Lt. Willis Whatley with the Sylacauga Police Department.
A press release from Sylacauga Police says that Thomas has been charged with the same two crimes against a second victim and booked on a $100,000 bond. He has bonded out.
