(WDNG) - Police are on the lookout for three men who robbed an area restaurant. Anniston police Sgt. Chris Sparks says two men entered the Custom Pizza on U.S. 431 in Anniston around 11 p.m. on Friday concealed “head to toe.”
At least one of the men allegedly brandished a handgun and demanded money from store employees. Sparks said two employees complied with the demand and gave the robbers an undisclosed amount of money.
The men discovered the door was locked when they tried to leave, and Sparks said one of the men fired a single shot which broke the glass. They reportedly met with a third suspect who was waiting outside and fled the scene on foot.
Police reports indicate potential suspects could face felony charges of second-degree robbery. No injuries were reported from the Friday robbery.
