(WDNG) - More than a football game was lost in Saks on Friday after several cars were burglarized. Anniston police were called to Jack Stewart Field in Saks on Friday evening to investigate a string of vehicle break-ins.
Anniston police Capt. Allen George on Monday said four vehicles were broken into sometime during the Wildcats’ game against Madison Academy on Friday. Authorities say windows were shattered on all four vehicles and police reports indicate women’s purses were taken from at least three of the vehicles.
George said no suspects have been identified in the Friday incident. According to police reports, potential suspects could face felony charges of breaking and entering a vehicle.
