(WDNG) - Anniston police last week launched an investigation into a fire that occurred at a home on the 400 block of W. 29th St. Anniston police Capt. Allen George said by email on Tuesday that the resident of the house was at a neighbors house when she noticed smoke coming from her house.
Police reports indicate the fire occurred sometime around 3 p.m. on October 28. According to George, fire personnel said they found three areas where the fire allegedly started.
The Oct. 28 fire is the third fire being investigated by Anniston police as possibly intentional. A fire on Oct. 11 on Joni Lee Ln. and another blaze on Skyline Dr. on Oct. 19 are also being investigated as possible arsons.
According to police reports, any potential suspects in last week's house fire could face felony second-degree arson charges.
