A Talladega man was killed in an early morning wreck on I-20 today, state troopers confirm.
Christopher Swain, 37, was driving a 2013 Peterbilt tractor trailer when it left the roadway and ran into several trees on the side of the interstate. Swain died in the wreck.
Troopers say the crash happened around 5:35 a.m. on I-20 westbound about two miles east of Pell City. No other vehicles were involved.
Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate the wreck. Crews are still working to clean up the scene.
