(WDNG) - State health officials want you to rethink that drink in your hand. The Alabama Obesity Task Force has reportedly launched a yearlong campaign to try to get people to make a healthy choice when deciding what to drink.
The “ReThink Your Drink” campaign hopes to reduce the amount of sugary beverages that Alabamians include in their diet. The first core message of the new campaign is to get residents to choose water in the place of sweetened drinks.
The Alabama Obesity Task force was established to address obesity issues and is a volunteer organization comprised of 172 members.
