TALLADEGA (WDNG) - Danica Patrick announces a new sponsor for the No. 10. Team officials on Friday announced Aspen Dental will be a new sponsor for the No. 10 Stewart-Haas team beginning in 2014.
Patrick will be driving a new blue-and-white Chevrolet SS on March 9 in Las Vegas and again in August at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Current sponsor GoDaddy will continue to be the main logo for the car through the rest of this year and for most races next year; logos for Aspen Dental will appear on the No. 10’s B-post and lower-rear quarter panel.
Patrick has been a racing staple since 2005 when she led 19 laps and finished fourth in her Indianapolis 500 debut. She became the sport’s first woman to take the pole position in the Daytona 500 in February and says this weekend’s restrictor-plate race may have a similar outcome. She said on Friday “there are patterns, and I would say that one of my patterns is that they (restrictor-plate races) tend to be better races for me.”
