(WDNG) - A suspect dons an unusual disguise before breaking into an Anniston liquor store. Anniston police on Wednesday morning are investigating an apparent burglary at the ABC liquor store on Highway 431 in Saks.
Anniston police Capt. Allen George said officers responded to a burglar alarm at the package store around 6 a.m. Wednesday. He said officers found the glass door to the store shattered and officers launched their investigation by watching surveillance footage.
George said the video showed a white vehicle pull up to the building and a single suspect exit the vehicle. According to George, the suspect was wearing gloves and had a bed sheet with eye holes cut out reminiscent of an old ghost Halloween costume and broke the glass door with an unknown object.
Employees of the store were unable to determine if any items were missing from the store on Wednesday morning. According to police reports, potential suspects could face felony third-degree burglary charges.
