The Leeds Police Department is asking for help finding a missing teen.
Destiny Holliday, 14, walked away from her home in Leeds Saturday morning. As of Monday morning, she was still missing.
It is unknown what type of clothing Destiny was wearing. Destiny's cell phone has been turned off and no contact has been established.
Leeds Police Chief Byron Jackson stated that Holliday has a history of running away, but never for this length of time.
But Destiny's mother, Stefanie Ritch, says her daughter has never run away before. Ritch said she went to the store on Saturday morning. Her daughter was left at home with her grandfather, who was working in a garage adjacent to the home.
Ritch said a neighbor reported seeing her daughter walking down the street about that time.
Chief Jackson said foul play is not suspected at this time.
Anyone with knowledge of Destiny's location is asked to contact the Leeds Police Department at 205-699-2581.
