One person was airlifted to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into the corner of a building in east Gadsden.
The incident happened just off of Highway 278 near Sizemore Road. Two people were in the car and the passenger was airlifted to Birmingham for treatment. There is no condition report on the driver at this time.
According to witnesses, the vehicle left the road, took out a school zone speed sign and then crashed into the corner of the building. The building appears to be home to a ministry.
