Family and friends are asking for help in locating a Locust Fork girl who authorities in Blount County say ran away from home Tuesday morning.
Lindsey Ann Alford, 13, was last seen around 7:30 a.m. and relatives believe she could possibly be in the Trussville or Center Point area, where other family members reside. She is approximately 5-feet, 6-inches tall, weighs around 125 pound and has blue eyes and medium-length brown hair.
She was last seen wearing a red hoodie with black pants and had a purple and black backpack.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact the Blount Co. sheriff's department at 205-625-4912 or Shawna Ragland at 205-516-3598.
