Alabama Department of Corrections officials say they're searching for an inmate who has been reported missing from a community based facility.
Officials said Monday that 34-year-old Matthew Cater Moore was reported missing from the Hamilton Community Based Facility early Monday morning after a bed count.
Authorities say Moore - a minimum custody inmate - is white, 5-feet-10 inches tall and weighs about 185 pounds. Investigators say he has brown hair and hazel eyes. Officials say More was sentenced June 24, 2009 for robbery in Calhoun County.
Corrections officials say Moore was sentenced to 16 years and 3 months, and a parole hearing was scheduled for August 2015.
