Alabama economic development is expected to be the topic of discussion between the governor and a trade association. The Associated Press reports Gov. Robert Bentley is scheduled to discuss these issues with members of Manufacture Alabama, a group that reportedly represents companies across the state.
According to the AP, the meeting will be held Thursday afternoon at the Grand Hotel Marriott in Point Clear, just southwest of Mobile. Bentley will reportedly talk about a newly formed task force established in January as a way to help prepare students for the workforce.
Thursday’s meeting is expected to begin at 1:30.
