Two people have been charged in the death of an 89-year-old Anniston woman, authorities announced Thursday.
The body of Alma Fleming was discovered Wednesday morning in her Wellborn home in the 500 block of Stebbins Street.
Walker Craig Pinkston, 32, and Monica Marie Shively, 30, have been charged with capital murder in connection with the elderly woman's death. Authorities said the suspects reportedly did yard work for Fleming.
