Alabama State Troopers are investigating the cause of a single-vehicle crash that left one person dead Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 65 at mile marker 204. That's in Chilton County near the Clanton/U.S. Hwy 31 exit.
The driver of the vehicle was killed in the crash. Their identity has not yet been released.
Authorities say one lane is blocked.
