ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Alabama -- Rolling roadblocks are scheduled through this week as the Interstate 20 widening project continues, according to the Alabama Department of Transportation.
Eastbound: Weather permitting, Alabama State Troopers will lead the rolling roadblocks between the Brompton exit (Exit 147) and the Mineral Springs Road/Cogswell Avenue exit (Exit 156) between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. through Thursday.
Westbound: Rolling roadblocks are planned along the same stretch of I-20 between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Thursday and Friday.
ALDOT urges drivers to expect delays and observe a 45 mph speed limit through the work zone. Troopers will patrol and strictly enforce speed limits.
