Anniston police Capt. Allen George on Friday said authorities were dispatched to the 400 block of W. 29th St. after reports of at least three people shooting at each other. Police reports indicate multiple victims in the area reported damage to buildings and a vehicle from the gunfire.
George said approximately five bullet holes were found in one building at Norwood Homes. A 53-year-old victim reportedly told police a bullet tore through his bedroom and damaged a mirror and dish. George said no arrests were made but investigators are following leads to identify the suspects.
According to police reports from the Monday shooting, potential suspects could face three separate charges of felony discharging a firearm into a building.
