A Gadsden man is dead after being shot in his own driveway. AL.com reports 45-year-old Willie Brown was shot at him home in East Gadsden on Wednesday as he got into his car. Brown was reportedly pronounced dead shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Etowah County Deputy Coroner Michael Head tells AL.com that Brown had come out of his house and gotten into a Cadillac when he was shot multiple times by someone. The Cadillac was reportedly already in reverse when the shots were fired and the car rolled back into the street.
According to the website, the wounds appear to have come from an AK-47, similar to a weekend shooting on the Meighan Boulevard Bridge that killed two other Gadsden men when their car was hit by bullets from an AK-47 fired from another car.
