The Alabama Bureau of Investigation (ABI) is looking into an officer-involved shooting that happened after a car chase in Talladega County.
Talladega police say 28-year-old Christopher Yates has been charged with felony assault in the first degree after an attempted attack that led to an officer-involved shooting in July.
The ABI is continuing to look into the incident.
Yates was transported to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
He’s currently being held on $25,000 bond.
