A search is underway for an inmate who escaped from the Randolph County jail. 47 year old Roger Dale Gosdin was serving time for burglary and theft charges.
The Randolph County sheriff says Gosdin also has charges in Carroll County, Georgia.
Gosdin is six feet two inches tall and weighs 220 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes. His last known address is 2501 Alabama Road, Roopville, Georgia.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at 256-357-4545 or local police.
