A victim in a crash on U.S. 431 in Alexandria this afternoon has been flown by helicopter for medical treatment.
The crash happened sometime around noon, near the Sonic drive-in restaurant. A damaged motorcycle and a white Jeep Cherokee were visible at the scene, where one closed northbound and one southbound lane of the highway reopened just after 1 p.m.
Alabama State Troopers were at the scene, as were Calhoun County sheriff's deputies and other public safety agencies
