(WDNG) - A fight between brothers lands one in the hospital and the other in jail. Anniston police on Monday were dispatched to a call of someone being cut on the 2600 block of McElroy Ave. shortly before midnight late Sunday night.
Anniston police Cpt. Allen George said two brothers were involved in an argument when 61-year-old Fred Lee Duncan, Jr. allegedly cut his 53-year-old brother with a razor. George said the victim was cut from his left ear to his collarbone which severed his temporal artery. Anniston EMS transported the victim to Stringfellow Hospital and the victim is expected to make a full recovery.
The older Duncan brother was later arrested at a residence in the neighborhood and charged with felony first-degree domestic violence. Officials at the Anniston city jail say Duncan was transferred to the Calhoun County Jail.
