Alabama state troopers are reporting a fatal accident in Randolph County. It happened at 3:40 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 431. That's located 10 miles south of Wedowee. Robert Pesnell was killed when the 2004 GMC pickup that he was driving left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned. Troopers say the 55 year old Heflin resident was not wearing a seat belt. The crash is under investigation.
