(WDNG) - Anniston police on Thursday afternoon arrested 24-year-old Tanrrance Maurice Landrum for shooting a 13-year-old boy at Constantine Homes in March. Police Cpt. Allen George said on Friday that warrant officers picked up Landrum in Heflin.
Landrum was wanted in connection with the March 10 shooting of a 13-year-old boy who reportedly suffered two gunshot wounds to his left arm and torso. According to George, the victim was approached by two men and only knew one of the men by a nickname shortly before he was shot.
George believes the victim made a full recovery from his injuries.
Landrum was transferred from the Anniston jail to the Calhoun County jail on Friday and is currently being held on a $30,000 bond. Landrum is scheduled to appear in court on August 1 to face felony first-degree assault charges.
