The Etowah County Sheriff's Department says they have arrested a man on three felony charges and one misdemeanor in connection to a burglary in the Carlisle community.
19-year-old Dillon Ray Oliver was arrested on Tuesday and charged with one count of 3rd degree burglary, one count of 1st degree theft of property, one count of 2nd degree theft of property and a charge of resisting arrest.
Deputies say Oliver was caught leaving a residence on Walters Road after a neighbor reported suspicious activity to law enforcement. At the scene, Oliver was found to be in possession of a stolen 12-gauge shotgun, jewelry, two laptop computers and clothing items.
Oliver is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on a $10,500 bond.
