A Hanceville woman was killed Saturday afternoon in a vehicle crash near Hayden.
State troopers say Brandy Vance, 36, died when the vehicle she was riding in crashed about four miles north of Hayden on County Road 7.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to UAB Hospital for treatment of his injuries. No other vehicles or people were involved in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
