Pamela's Place topic for Friday 5/24/13:
Medicine and Murder: Perspective on Convicted Baby Killer Dr. Kermit Gosnell.
On May 13, Dr. Kermit Gosnell, a licensed MD in Philadelphia, was convicted of the pre-meditated murder of 3 late- aborted infants and the overdose death of an adult patient.
“An investigation of prescription drug trafficking at Gosnell’s clinic over 2 years ago uncovered what authorities said was a foul-smelling house of horrors with bags and bottles of stored fetuses… and bloodstaines furniture. Pennsylvania authorities had failed to conduct routine inspections of all of its abortion clinics for 15 years by the time Gosnell's facility was raided and closed down.”
Prosecutor Ed Cameron, in his closing arguments, rhetorically asked Gosnell: “Are you human?...”To med these women-up and stick knives in the backs of babies?”
Dr. Stephen J. Iacoboni (Yok-a-boni) is a medical professional dedicated to the preservation and quality of human life. He is a returning guest on this show, bringing some perspective and commentary as
As an Oncologist for over 3 decades, Stephen has been fighting against death-by-disease and finds “death-by-doctor” professionally unacceptable.
“… this was NOT abortion. It was infanticide! There is a huge difference in that line being crossed. There is NO refuge or tolerance for this behavior in western culture!!!!”
Standing at the busy intersection of law, politics, science, and spirituality, there are many complex questions and no simple answers.
