Auburn athletic director Jay Jacobs is adamant that the football program and overall department will rebound from a rough year and that he'll be around to enjoy the resurgence. Jacobs spoke to reporters after addressing Auburn's Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday. The program is coming off historically bad seasons in football and men's basketball. Jacobs also says he's "going to be here awhile" when asked about his own job security. A committee has completed a review of the athletics program. Auburn hasn't released the specific findings, which appeared to deal mostly with serving fans and providing better experiences on game weekends. Jacobs and Auburn President Jay Gogue met last week to discuss the report. Jacobs acknowledges "it's been a tough year, but we're going to bounce back."
