The death of a 2-year-old boy is being Friday by the Oxford Police Department with the assistance of the Talladega Co investigated unty District Attorney's Office.
Emergency Management Services responded to a report of an unresponsive child at a home on Pecanwood Drive near the Talladega-Calhoun County line this morning. They transported the boy to Anniston Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
The cause of his death is unknown at this time. An autopsy will be performed Monday at the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Montgomery
