Bryant Young is stepping down as defensive line coach of the Florida Gators to "pursue more time with my family". Young informed the team of his decision to resign on Wednesday. Young has been a part of Florida's coaching staff the past two seasons. He was brought in to coach defensive tackles after Will Muschamp became the Gators head coach in 2011. Young has also coached at Notre Dame and San Jose State. Muschamp says Young's decision is "strictly a personal decision and has nothing to do with NCAA compliance". Young and his wife have six kids and says he as "come to the realization that it is time to invest more in my family during this fleeting season in life".
