Four former Alabama football players arrested after two on-campus robberies are set to have their cases presented to a Tuscaloosa County grand jury. Eddie Williams, Dennis Pettway and Brent Calloway all waived their rights to a preliminary hearing scheduled for Tuesday before Tuscaloosa District Court Judge James C. Guin. Tyler Hayes' case was automatically sent to a grand jury on Monday. The players were dismissed from school following a judicial review. Williams, Pettway and Hayes are charged with two counts of second-degree robbery after two students were attacked in separate robberies on Feb. 11. Williams and Calloway are both charged with using a stolen debit card. Pettway, Williams and Calloway are seeking youthful offender status.
