Alabama coach Nick Saban says hospitalized athletic director Mal Moore is "in good spirits." Saban said Saturday he visited Moore in a Birmingham hospital on Wednesday, before his 73-year-old boss was transferred to Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C. Moore was hospitalized last week with pulmonary problems. The university said Thursday evening he was resting comfortably and hasn't released an update on his status since then. Saban says Moore is "in great hands" medically to help restore him to health. Saban also says Moore has a lot of family with him, including Moore's daughter Heather. Saban says he hopes Alabama fans "have a thought and prayer for Mal." Moore is a former Bear Bryant assistant who has been athletic director since 1999.
